This is thanks to Mr. Justin Katoto, Uganda’s Trade Representative (TR) to the DRC market who linked BIRYA to their client ESTABLISSMENT PLANET HOTEL.
Birya United Agencies Ltd will soon start supplying other items including Beans, Maize grain & Grade 2 Maize flour on a weekly basis as per the contract signed.
The TR program is an initiative of PACEID under the stewardship of Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo that is tasked with improving Uganda’s foreign earnings from the current USD 6BN to USD 12BN and beyond from the prioritized 13 key products; coffee, tea, fruits & vegetables, beef, dairy, grains, sugar, fish, banana flour, flowers, cement, steel and tourism by 2028.
