An examination results circular released by the Law Development Centre has indicated that of the 2, 087 students who enrolled for the advocate Bar Course academic year 2022/2023, only 701 passed.

The circular released on Tuesday indicated that  894 will be  required to sit supplementary exams while 492 completely failed the course.

The circular shows that  the 701 who passed represent 34% of the total number of students enrolled and of these, 398 were at the Kampala campus, 224 at Mbarara Campus and 79 at the Lira Campus.

In terms of percentage, more students at Mbarara Campus at 36% passed than at any of the other campuses.

The statistics show that 286 students at Mbarara campus  will have to sit for supplementary exams while 120 totally failed the course whereas 488 at Kampala campus are to sit for supplementary exams and 305 totally failed.

On the other side, whereas 120 students at Lira campus will have to sit supplementary exams, 67 totally failed.

“A student who sits supplementary examinations in category B and C subjects only will have their results processed in time for qualifying students to graduate with his or her colleagues of academic year 2022/23.”

“Students with supplementary examinations in category A subjects will sit examinations with the students of the academic year 2023/24.”

LDC says students will later today, Wednesday be able to access their individual detailed results on their portals.

The Law Development Centre adds that graduations will be held at the respective campuses in Mbarara on April 12,  Kampala on April 19 and Lira on April 26, 2024.
